Carpet Stretching and Repair

When stretching carpet, all furniture must be removed from the room and the carpet must be stretched in multiple directions, to make sure the problem doesn’t occur again.  We use a power-stretcher to remove the wrinkles and get the carpet as tight as it can be.  The excess carpet is cut off at the baseboard.  Loose fibers are vacuumed-up and the furniture is reset.  We are proud to provide a lifetime warranty on all stretching work we perform.

Carpet repairs can be needed when color has been removed in a specific area, a pet has scratched under a door, or a particular stain cannot be removed, for example.  The carpet is cut around the area needing the repair, and a replacement piece that matches the size and shape (and, if applicable, pattern) is either glued-down or seamed-in in its place.  When extra carpet is not available, the back of a closet is often an acceptable place to take the needed piece from.  When we are done, it is generally very hard to see that a repair has even been made.
