VCT, Linoleum & Resilient Vinyl Tile – Strip / Clean / Wax

We begin by sweeping the floor, to remove all loose, dry soil.

If we are to strip the floor, we will then apply floor stripper using either a sprayer or mop and bucket, depending on the square footage to be stripped.  Allowing the stripper enough time to work, while making sure it doesn’t dry, is essential to removing all of the wax.  Next, we will go over the floor with stripping pads, making sure all of the old wax is loosened from the floor.  The broken-down wax and solution is then thoroughly rinsed off of the floor – a process which also cleans the floor – and dried with air movers.

If the floor is not waxed, then we will clean the floor by                        .

If the floor is waxed but we are not to strip it, then we will clean the floor by                      .

If we are to wax the floor, we will then apply self-leveling wax with a finishing mop.  We will apply multiple coats of wax.  The floor will be left with a beautiful shine!  If the finish is properly maintained it will last up to one year, and we would be able to clean the floor and apply a new top coat of wax the next time without needing to strip the floor and wax from scratch
